The successful candidate will work directly with our City of Anaheim clients and be responsible for monitoring, reporting, and overseeing projects throughout the City of Anaheim.

The PMO Lead will head the project management office (PMO) and provide guidance and support to Program Executives, Project Managers, and SAIC Technical staff.

The PMO Lead duties will involve tracking the status of projects, monitoring for adherence to PMO standards, and handling financial reports.

This role will be also acting as a Project Manager for projects and be responsible for ensuring that deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

He or she will coordinate activities to ensure all aspects of each project are performed to fulfill client needs.

If you enjoy working with other professionals who believe in creating innovative solutions to problems, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities and DutiesLead the Project Management Office (PMO) with Project Managers reporting directly to the roleTrack the status of the project portfolio across the entire City of Anaheim account Monitor for adherence to PMO standards and developed processesReview financial reports for accuracyReview Project Manager developed deliverables including Work Orders, Project definition documents and proposalsMeet with clients to clarify specific requirements of each projectDelegate project tasks based on staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levelsTrack project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals and produce monthly project status updates Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysisDevelop comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress to be shared with clients as well as other staff membersProvide regular status reporting to both client and SAIC management, to ensure processes and best practices are being followedCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityEnsure resource availability and allocationManage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededManage the relationship with the client and all stakeholdersPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationDevelop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document the projects’ progressionQualifications Qualifications and SkillsBachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience.8 years’ experience in project managementPMP Certification PreferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft ProjectWorking knowledge of Microsoft ExcelKnowledge and experience with IT infrastructure and software application projectsExcellent client-facing communication skillsCOVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees are required to adhere with SAIC’s vaccination policy.
