Strategic Analyst

Qualifications: 
Strategic Planner who has experience with data. Most Planners have some level of data experience so if they are comfortable utilizing and working within Excel it could work. They will use the consumer insights from strategy and there is no modeling or technical experience required.

4-5 years of experience working in a quantitative (nice to have) or media research capacity.

Past experience could include, but is not limited to, planning/research at advertising, media agency or working for a research company such as Hall & Partners, Millward Brown, Ipsos, etc.

 

Up-to-date on the latest tools for using, dissecting and visualizing large amounts of data.

 

Experience visualizing data with Tableau

Automotive experience also a plus
Skills and Competencies: 
Must be expert with basic computer tools including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. 

Data visualization skills and experience with tools such as Tableau

Experienced in quantitative research methods and familiar with qualitative.

High-level understanding of digital, search or social analytics is nice to have but not required.

Must have the ability to look beyond the data to find insights and strategic implications.

Use concise writing, visualization and presentation skills to effectively communicate a story in a clear and compelling way. 

Must be an analytical, detail-oriented, thorough, self-starter and interested in people and ideas; a collaborative and strategic thinker who has the ability to make the numbers talk.
