As a result of our expansion we are in need of an IT Support Specialist to join our team in LA.
The primary focus of this role will be to ensure that all employees have access to the hardware, tools and systems needed to work effectively.
This includes new account and laptop configuration, workstation setup and troubleshooting of multiple interrelated systems.
This position will work closely with Sr.
IT Manager and will be a great opportunity to learn and work with many technical systems in use today, including Active Directory, ADFS, DHCP, DNS, Google Workspace, Windows Servers, VMWare, Windows and Mac Laptops.
Basic familiarity with each of these systems is preferred.
Other Responsibilities Include:
Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mobile devices across the company.
Facilitating equipment repairs as needed
Maintaining accurate equipment inventory and deployments
Following established company standards for onboarding new hires and processing exits for departing employees
Setup, monitoring, and breakdown of audio/video equipment and conferencing systems to support company meetings
Monitoring ticketing system for support issues, troubleshooting and resolving reported issues, logging and closing tickets
Assisting employees with wide range of issues, always with a positive attitude using understandable language.
Requirements
Desktop support experience on Windows and Mac platforms
Basic Knowledge of office technologies like AD, DHCP, DNS, Networking
Experience as GSuite administrator and Office 365 administrator preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other commonly used programs like Slack and Zoom
Strong verbal and written communication skills, in person and using remote support tools
Willingness to work on site in Santa Monica office at least three days per week
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Enthusiasm about learning new systems and developing personal skills
3-5 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist
