Job Description A And R Homecare Llc in Columbia, MD is looking for one certified nursing assistant to join our 7 person strong team.
We are located on 10630 Little Patuxent Pkwy Suite 224 N.

Responsibilities
· Personal care functions including: o Bathing (bed, tub, shower, or sponge bath).
o Skin care.
o Toileting (bedpan, urinal, commode and/or toilet).
o Grooming (shampoo, nail care and shaving).
o Oral hygiene (denture care).
o Assist with dressing and undressing.
· Assist with feeding.
· Assist with turning and repositioning.
· Proper transfer techniques.
· Demonstrate appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment.
· Make and change beds (occupied and unoccupied).
· Accompany clients to appointments.
· Ambulate clients who require minimal assistance.
· Perform skin assessments and notify Nursing Supervisor of any abnormalities in skin integrity.
· Immediately report any changes in client’s condition or incidents to RN.
· Maintain confidentiality in relation to all clients, staff, and documentation.
· Maintain professional appearance and comply with agency dress code.
· Maintain a cooperative manner towards client/family and members of healthcare team.
· Understanding and performing all duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferable.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· At least 1 year of (CNA) experience(preferred).
· Prior experience in LTAC environment or facility.
· Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
