As an Accounts Receivable expert, you should be detail-oriented, computer savvy, and demonstrate outstanding communication skills. In this position, you will be expected to collaborate with team members and internal departments, lead special billing projects as needed, and receive payment from customers. Previous experience in a high-volume environment is a must.Duties and Responsibilities:• Deposit and post customer payments• Invoice customers promptly and accurately• Process new customer applications, including verifying credit references• Identify and review delinquent customer accounts• Create, maintain, and update customer files• Create credit memos as needed• Maintain and strengthen customer relationships while ensuring they pay within terms and limits• Special projects as assigned, including but not limited to assembling billing support as requested, addressing and resolving billing discrepancies• All other duties as assigned by Accounts Receivable Lead and CFOQualifications:• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with team members, internal departments, and customers• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook• Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Ability to anticipate work needs• Strong mathematical skills• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeepingEducation and Experience:• 5+ years experience in Accounts Receivable• Experience in freight forwarding, air cargo, import/export, and/or logistics preferredPhysical Requirements:• Sitting down, working at a computer for a minimum of eight (8) hours dailyPI171687378
