Job description We’re hiring a cook to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about offering delicious and nutritious food, hospitality and service to our clients.

This position is an important part of our team.

Under the general direction of the Culinary Director, follows established procedures and policies in reference to the cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of the facility kitchen.

Essential Functions of the Job
– The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with the approved menu, current standards, guidelines, and regulations with established procedures, and as may be directed by the Executive Director and/or Culinary Services Director to assure that quality food service is always provided
– Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED
– EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
– High School Diploma, or G.E.D.

– Minimum of one-year related experience; two years preferred a restaurant or catering back of house role.

– Experience in a residential facility but not required; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

These skills will be delivered via group and rehabilitative therapy, individual psychotherapy and behavior modification.

San Pablo is a 100 bed (co-ed), 24 hours 7 days a week facility.

The facility is designed to serve clients who have challenging and complex needs.
