Inventory Control SpecialistDallasFull Time-Direct HireThe Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining information related to inventory control and receiving.

Will be reporting directly to Inventory Supervisor.

Will assist Inventory Supervisor in order to meet department and company service levels by being responsible for all data transaction integrity.

Essential Job Functions: Monitoring of all inventory transactions including receipts, shipments, and manufacturing.

This will include inter-branch shipment reconciliation and promised delivery date(s).

Runs production shipping and receiving reports Checks production against system Assist all locations in JDE training and trouble shooting Checks in all receiving documents.

Handles all accounts payable invoice discrepancies against receipts Reconciliation of data from various reports.

Maintain physical files of back up documents for inventory transactions.

Work with accounting department to resolve billing issues.

Assist with the physical inventories as required.

Data entry for departmental metrics Advice operations of inventory related issues.

Other projects as directed.

High School Diploma or Equivalent 1 3 years of experience in inventory control Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word & Excel Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail Strong work ethic with ability to work overtime Positive Can-Do attitude that gets along well with others Works well under pressure Ability to self-manage and be dependable Basic math skills required Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills Consistently deliver the best in customer service.
