GRID Alternatives’ SolarCorps Fellowship Program is an opportunity for highly motivated and enthusiastic people to join GRID Alternatives for an 11-month paid term. Your program participation includes…
- Start date of Tue, Sept 7, 2021 and end date of Fri July 29, 2022
- $30,500 ($16/hour for 11 months)
- Professional development (including $600 towards a relevant opportunity you choose)
- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
- Up to 22 days of PTO (Paid Time Off) + 11 paid holidays observed by GRID
- On-the-job training (including industry relevant skills to launch your career)
- Orientation and Mid-Year Career Readiness Retreat
- Monthly virtual calls, collaboration with other Fellows, ongoing program liaison support
- A passion for environmental justice and clean energy
- Willingness to learn skills on the job
- Be comfortable in working with diverse communities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to embrace change
- Must be 18 years or older
- Construction Fellows will need a valid driver’s license
- Help implement strategy to increase the number of clients served in regional counties
- Help promote community awareness of GRID Alternatives’ services and mission
- Assist Outreach Coordinators in client application process and homeowner trainings
- Help create easy-to-read materials that educate homeowners on energy efficiency
- GLA Outreach Fellow must be Bilingual in Spanish
