Our Corporate business units offer a huge diversity of career pathways that ensure we deliver our award-winning customer experience.As part of our Commercial team, this role is a unique opportunity to develop pricing strategies and perform commercial analysis to maximise Air New Zealand’s commercial performance.What you will do:Develop and implement pricing strategies that ensure Air New Zealand’s competitive positioning in the North American marketProduce analysis and reporting on forward bookings, revenue, and market share to measure against targets, establish trends, and determine effectiveness of pricing and sales strategiesDevelop and implement business initiatives by working collaboratively across multiple business functionsDevelop analytical models to assess the commercial benefit of business initiatives, including risk assessmentsPresent business cases to the wider business including senior stakeholdersWhat you will bring to the role:As a big picture thinker, you understand the key economic drivers that impact our highly competitive environment and are likely to come from a background where commercial analysis and pricing are key focuses.
You will be required to apply your analytical expertise to develop commercial initiatives and drive revenue and will have a university degree in a relevant discipline.The ideal candidate will have gained significant experience in a strategic and analytical role where you will have had exposure to partnering with senior stakeholders and built strong commercial business acumen.
