We make a difference every day to patients and families coping with end of life illness in creating a center of excellence in hospice care.Overview:The role contributes to AccentCare mission by facilitating comprehensive nursing assessments, planning and execution of the Plan of Care (POC) to maximize the health and comfort of patients and their families.
The STINT group serves the organization by serving patients and families as assignments arise for a duration of six weeks to six months, through interdisciplinary plans of care and in accordance with regulatory requirements.Positions Over Which Supervisory Responsibility is Held: NoneQualifications:1.
Associates or specialized 2-year degree required, BSN preferred2.
Registered Nurse license required 3.
Current CPR certification required4.
Minimum 1-year experience in hospice or home health required; General medical surgical or patient population specific nursing required; ICU experience highly preferred5.
Willingness to serve on-call6.
Must have reliable automobile, valid driver’s license and the minimum state required liability auto insurance7.
Basic knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite, EMR and HRIS8.
