Financial Analyst (ANA24526)Location: Los Angeles, CADuration: 1 year with possible contract to hireDescription: Department: NFS Capital Projects.Purpose of the Position: To provide construction financial assistance to the capital projects team.Minimum number of years of experience required 3+ years in a financial analysis and/or accounting role in architectural, design, contracting project management or construction environment.Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related construction management discipline and related industry experience, required.Top 3 5 Daily responsibilities: The primary focus of this position is on financial and project management system data entry, review of invoices and payment applications for completeness and accuracy.

With oversight, updates assigned financial reporting and trending information for review by more Senior Financial/Cost Analysts.

Working closely with the Project Manager to assure accurate data is reflected in the project management system for schedules, estimate at completion, comments as to status of project and vendor evaluations.

Works with Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Manager and Property Accounting to ensure that project costs are recorded in accordance with client policies and procedures.Top 3 5 Required Skills: Must have a construction finance/accounting background.Must be very good with systems/technology, very proficient with Excel, Word, and Power Point.Desired skills: Intermediate level in computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.

Working knowledge of policies, practices and systems.

Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques and standards.Experience:Financial analysis and/or accounting : 3 years (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)
