American Construction Metals (ACM) is a rapidly growing manufacturing Strategic Business Unit of ABC Supply and is currently seeking an Aluminum Material Analyst.This position’s primary responsibility is to maintain the accuracy of material requirements in raw aluminum substrates and finished goods to satisfy customer demand across ACM.
In this role, you will be expected to support the supply chain department in system setup, recognizing accurate inventory values and lead times.
You will also be expected to document and review / revise material processes and setup key reporting and metrics to assist in the continued monitoring of key purchasing programs.
Specific Material Analyst duties may include:Maintaining Material Requirement Planning (MRP) inputs on all aluminum raw materialsAssisting in the purchasing of raw materials and resale goods for all ACM locationsMaintaining and measure accuracy of forecast / safety stocksDeveloping and maintaining measurements for raw material availabilityManaging manufacturing requirements / demand drivers within JD Edwards (JDE) MRP process with Manufacturing Planning ManagerMonitoring reject inventory and support vendor return or non-conforming process and communicate clearly with vendors for problem resolution on product issues and problemsExploring and qualifying new vendorsMonitoring inventory levelsDeveloping key reports and analytics to monitor inventory and key vendor programs.
