Sales Associate

Luxury wholesale jewelry brand in Downtown, Los Angeles seeking a full time sales executive.

Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen and develop relationships with existing clients
  • Cultivate and develop new client relationships in your assigned territories
  • Maintain an awareness of customers’ demands to be able to service them properly
  • Provide a consistently excellent client experience by maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
  • Learn and remain current on operational policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
  • Take initiative and actively seek sales opportunities
  • Attend all major trade shows and trunk shows
  • Collaborate with multiple employees to fulfil jewelry orders and provide marketing materials to accounts

Required Qualifications:

  • A passion for sales. Highly motivated.
  • High School diploma/GED. *Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in retail or wholesale sales. *Luxury or jewelry sales preferred
  • *Existing relationships with fine jewelry stores preferred
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills. Fluent English is a must.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office. General comfort with computers and learning new programs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights/weekends during trade shows and holiday events
  • Experience planning, setting up, displaying and working shows
  • Provide sales feedback and requests for marketing materials and tools required to help achieve sales goals
  • Partner with all departments and colleagues to ensure superior client experience and contribute to a positive environment.
  • Be an outgoing, people person. Must be sociable and feel comfortable talking to strangers both on the phone and in person.
  • Must act and dress professionally, presentably, and pay attention to details and aesthetics
  • Have a passion for luxury goods and lifestyle
  • *Graduate Gemologist degree or previous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) coursework is preferred
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States
