Large Format Printer Operator

A 50 year old signage and graphics company is seeking a printer operator.

Print Operator has the primary responsibility to operate and maintain printer equipment in production.

This position is responsible for safety, quality, and output.

They are required to perform duties producing products in a timely manner and follow directions given by the Production Manager(s), Supervisor and Lead(s).

Proficiency in the operation of Vutek wide format (or equivalent) printers.

* Troubleshoot multiple digital presses; Flatbed and Roll Presses.

* Basic digital printer knowledge.

* Receives production orders and job assignments.

* Perform proper machine set-up, start-up, shut down and general equipment maintenance procedures.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Must be available for overtime during the week, and on weekends when needed.

* Ability to work independently and with other team members to reach production goals.

* Move finished materials to appropriate location when complete.

* Ensures proper cleaning of press.

* Complies with company safety procedures.

* Work involves frequent standing, bending, lifting material.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00
– $21.00 per hour
