NSTXL is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations. The right candidate will oversee all aspects of our financial process and systems, including accounting, budget, audit, project accounting, and financial analysis as well as help guide the selection of financial tools and software. The financial controllers will produce critical financial reports, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and forecasts.
Responsibility includes:
- Managing all accounting and auditing functions
- Preparing quarterly financial reports for the CEO and Board
- Work with our team to prepare an annual budget proposal and updating these quarterly
- Managing all invoicing functions including Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) team
- Managing project specific tools and reports to satisfy government requirements
- Facilitating annual third-party audits
- Perform financial analysis to illuminate trends, risks, and opportunities at the project and corporate level
- Preparing financial documents required for new bids and proposals
- Recommend and implement accounting and financial systems/software as needed
- 10+ years’ experience with a government contractor
- Must have experience in the Defense Industry
- Strong mathematics and financial analysis skills
- Previous supervisory experience
- Knowledge of online SAAS accounting platforms and other tools
- BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
