Licensing and Merchandising Internship

Moonbug is a global entertainment company that creates and distributes fun and safe content for children which encourages healthy values such as compassion, empathy, and resilience while teaching fundamental life skills. The company is headquartered in London with a newly opened office in Los Angeles.
We are a team of entertainment and technology experts with an ambition to redefine the kid’s entertainment industry in this new digital age. We’re looking for an experienced Brand Partnerships executive to grow revenue through direct and indirect advertising and branded content sales across all Moonbug IP. As part of the Commercial Team, you will be responsible for identifying potential brand partners, generating new business, and ensuring campaigns are executed flawlessly, making sure clients are delighted in their partnership with Moonbug. The role is based in Los Angeles but will work closely with the London-based Commercial Team.
This internship will provide the right candidate to learn about Moonbug North American Licensing and Merchandising team’s operational activities of consumer products and its licensing management, as well as, learn about contracts, rights, and digital asset management, workflows approval, and royalty tracking.

Objetives:

  • Learn the Moonbug product approval process as well as how to prepare Moonbug contracts.
  • Maintain and keep our Brand Licensee Lists updated.
  • Learn how to use Moonbug’s IP Licensing software.
  • Maintain product line lists.
  • Update and maintain licensing deal flow tracker.
  • Help with maintaining branded pitch materials and sharing assets and decks.
  • Other assignments as needed.
