Publicly traded food manufacturer located in Los Angeles is looking for a Senior Accountant. In this position, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with month / quarter / year-end closes, preparing consolidated financial statements, balance sheet analysis, as well as accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) processes. The Senior Accountant will also prepare journal entries, conduct general ledger and bank reconciliation, manage inventory and project costs, fixed assets, play a key role in various audits, assist with SEC reporting, as well as handle ad hoc projects.
- Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Publicly traded company experience is a big plus.
- Food & beverage, consumer products industry experience is needed.
- Ability to work with various personnel is essential.
- ERP systems and strong Excel skills are important.
- Excellent analytical skills are also required.
