Sr. Systems Engineer
FTE Direct Hire Role – Global Professional Services Firm
(Blended Onsite role in Downtown Los Angeles – Must be LOCAL)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing and maintaining company-wide networks, storage, and systems (physical/virtual) servers.
- Administer cloud solutions/technologies (Azure/AWS/Office365)
- Supervise and ensure the efficiency of the IT systems infrastructure.
- Support companywide server monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Ability to provide a rotational 24/7 support when needed.
- Work with IT vendors and partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent hands-on experience
- 5+ years’ experience working with Windows Servers, VMware (vCenter/ESXi), Citrix
- Understanding of cloud systems and technologies (Azure/AWS)
- High level of proficiency with Active Directory
- Strong background in network/storage design and miniatous (SAN/NAS), and backup software technologies
- Working knowledge of IP Networks (LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, WiFi)
- Proficient with PowerShell
