Career opportunity in Kansas on a large ranch and grain farm for an experienced person operating a feed truck to distribute a pre-determined quantity of feed to cattle daily; operating a feeding system in a grain truck mounted with feed mixer delivering quality feed to livestock, grinding hay, unloading grain truck, operating a large pay loader, moving cattle, fixing the water system, ordering needed supplies, maintaining records, cleaning and maintaining equipment and facility grounds.
CDL helpful.
Must be able to use basic math to compute rate, ration, and percent, clean bunks out according to yard specifications, remove mold, rocks, manure, etc.
minimizes truck downtime by performing truck service and inspection, maintain a clean truck by cleaning out trash, wiping out, and washing, Must be able to ensure correct and timely ration placement, maintain accurate ration record and reporting documentation, maintenance, cleanliness, and overall operational integrity of equipment used, continually observe cattle and surroundings to report any issues, participate in the maintenance and cleanliness of bunks before and after inclement weather.
