AIG Direct Insurance Services, one of the divisions of AIG Life & Retirement and a leading direct marketer of term life insurance products, is seeking a results-oriented Search Engine Marketing Specialist with large scale SEM experience on both Google and Bing.
As part of an in-house marketing department, the SEM Specialist is accountable for delivering profitable new leads from these channels.
This role will be responsible for planning, optimizing, implementing, and analyzing all paid search engine marketing activities as well as all Google Display Network campaigns.
About the roleWe want to hear from you today if you can:Responsible for managing the buying and day-to-day optimizations to drive lead volume from search and display accounts on Google and BingReport to and act as back-up to the Digital Media Manager on daily stewardship of SEM budgets and reporting to Upper ManagementProactively striving to deliver optimum lead quality and cost-per-lead goals to achieve back-end ROI metricsSupport media team with continuous analytics reporting and pacing measurement using Google Analytics and Adobe AnalyticsCollaborate with media team on category performance, trends and campaign tests to help guide opportunities, strategies, and creative messagingImplement and manage all aspects of paid search campaigns, including keywords, ad copy, bidding strategies and budgetsUpdate weekly and monthly SEM and Display reports across platforms and using internal CRM data to provide analytical insight on performance metrics and recommendations to grow and refine campaignsResearch, develop and maintain all keywords for paid search campaignsDevelop and create SEM ad copy and manage tests to improve performanceAuthority on reviewing, analyzing and distributing competitive intelligence and industry trends to the media team and upper managementGovernance of corporate brand terms and placement on the search engine results pagePartner with the Search Engine Account Executive Team’s to ensure AIG Direct is informed of all new features, platform revisions and to align tasks, priorities and deadlinesResponsible for reviewing and reconciling monthly SEM invoices and uploading for payment processingBe the subject matter expert and keep abreast of industry trends and developments in SEM and display space, presenting and recommending new opportunities for growth in these channel What we are looking for2 years of experience in paid Search Engine MarketingGoogle Ads and Bing CertifiedExperience in SA360 or similar campaign management toolWriting Ad Copy and monitoring performance of various assetsData-driven with strong math skills, and high proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience managing search engine marketing campaignsA problem-solving mind-set and direct response/ROI orientation to managing campaignsAbility to set up and report on analytics programs such as Google Analytics or similar platformClear communications skills both verbal and writtenBachelor’s degree preferable in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media Studies, or related field A look at our benefitsAt AIG, we have a 100-year legacy of working to make the world a better place.
