Job Description We are Hiring Wine Warehouse is part of the “essential services critical supply chain” Wine Warehouse is a multi-generational, family owned and operated, wholesale distributor of fine wine, beer and spirits for California. Our warehouse in northern California is currently seeking a hard working and dedicated FULL-TIME Warehouse Yard Driver – Night Shift . This position is located in: Commerce, CA. The work hours are Monday through Thursday, starting at 6:00 p.m. Shift times may vary depending on business demands. Under close supervision, follows directions from Warehouse Manager(s) to perform the job responsibilities. This position is responsible for operating and moving trucks within a specific area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned or requested. Moves bob tail trucks to and from loading docks in preparation for loading of company product in a timely manner. Maintains clean yard Picks product from the warehouse and prepares orders for shipment Manually loads product of wine, beer, spirits and beer kegs into company delivery bobtail truck Checks product to ensure that the correct quantity and the correct product is being loaded. Moves product utilizing hand truck Performs general cleanup of warehouse, including restrooms (i.e. sweeping, moping, cleaning breakage, discarding shrink wrap, and cardboard boxes) Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Reports any damaged equipment, and/or inventory breakage to warehouse management Performs general cleanup of warehouse, including restrooms (i.e. sweeping, moping, cleaning breakage, discarding shrink wrap, and cardboard boxes) Pulls product that will be needed for the entire night based on the keg master Prepares shipments based on the daily route Organizes and restocks product Replenishes pick locations Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Qualifications: Elementary education is required. Must be able to read and write in English to be able to follow instructions. Maintains good driving record and commercial license (Class B). Physical Standards: Includes bending, squatting, reaching, walking, standing, carrying, and lifting an average of 50 pounds or more.
