Help Desk Technician

Rate: $24.97/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 5:00, may be required to work weekends or holidays

Position Summary:

The Senior IS Technician will assist in running service calls and installing computer and printer hardware in stores in their assigned area. Worker may work alone or assist local FTS Technicians in completing projects, installing computer equipment, and running services calls. Worker may spend several hours driving between locations daily to perform these duties. A permanent FTS employee will provide direction and support on a daily basis. Worker must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to drive themselves between several job locations on a daily basis. Worker will be reimbursed for miles driven on weekly expense report at the client’s reimbursement rate.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

Must have previous hardware repair experience, the ability to work on your own or with others, lift 75lbs frequently, work flexible hours, ability to complete required paperwork and excellent customer service skills.

Requirements:

You must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED to be considered. Higher education and/or certifications are a plus.

Because this job requires driving your personal vehicle between work sites, a MVR background check will be conducted upon being extended a job offer.
