Job Details
What you will be doing…
Manage the WIP process; including the creation of seasonal WIPs, ensuring all vendors are sending updated WIPS on weekly basis, reviewing WIP data to ensure accuracy and follow up on status as needed
Monitor time and action calendars to hit target calendar dates; including proto, photo shoot, sales samples, pre-production through bulk production and buys
Responsible for the data integrity of all trim information and maintains accuracy of library, trim codes, technical packages
Maintains accuracy of library, trim codes, technical packages
Works with manager to negotiate costing with vendors/factories to achieve costs to meet targets
Responsible for owning all comments; reviews comments with cross functional team members; communicates comments to vendors
Leads / facilitates cross functional communication with all departments needed (Marketing, Design, Development, and Production when needed)
Aids in production forecasting and capacity planning with trim supplier
Assists Women’s Product Development team
Helps in preparation for meetings by organizing samples / submits / merch guides (overviews)
Owns organization of submits and samples throughout product lifecycle
Opportunity for more responsibility when Trim seasonality is slower
What you will need:
2 Years experience in product development
Daily communication with vendors with providing sample comments
Participation in sitting in on fittings, providing material and color comments
