BASIC FUNCTION Under general direction and in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures, this role is responsible for obtaining perfected titles and liens, securing the collateral for the Credit Union.

This includes procuring titles for Consumer, Indirect and Member Solutions Department.

This involves processing vehicle titles accurately and within company timelines.

Review loan/DMV documentation to ensure completeness, and complete transactions between Credit Union and member borrowers.

Provide excellent service and assist in the cross-selling of products.Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES%TIME 45% Processes vehicle titles with precise accuracy.

5% Researches vehicle titles and resolves issues in a timely manner.

5% Submits all legal electronic filing transfer documents to the DMV.

5% Processes all new and used vehicles paperwork in the state in which they will be titled.

5% Provides support to process Indirect (CUDL) and Member Solutions Department titles.

5% Reconciles and balances DMV bundles and issue member refunds.

5% Reconciles and balances DMV GLs for the Accounting Dept.

5% Communicates with members/vendors by e-mail, telephone, or in person concerning their inquiries, concerns and information needed in a friendly and effective manner.

5% Understands and communicates properly the credit granting criteria, laws, rules and regulations in order to verify and examine information.

5% Understands and communicates properly interest rates in order to explain disclosure, calculate, review and correct errors using computer and/or calculator.

5% Cross-sell lending products to members by being knowledgeable of products and services offered and their benefits.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Balances work accurately ad time each work day.

Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent, two-year college degree or equivalent preferred.Three to five years of consumer lending experience and work-related experience in a full-service financial institution or experience in a related position in a related field.Ø Knowledge of lending laws, regulations, procedures, policies, etc.

Ø Possess excellent customer service and sales skills.

Ø Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

Ø Possess thorough knowledge of Credit Union products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.

Ø Possess thorough knowledge of regulations applicable to essential responsibilities.

Ø Ability to read, speak and write clearly to convey information effectively.

Ø Possess excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and represent the Credit Union positively with members, co-workers, vendors and management.

A significant level of trust and diplomacy required, in addition to courtesy and tact.

Ø Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusion or approaches to complex problems.

Ø Pays close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness of work output.

Ø Strong problem-solving skills to effectively research, investigate, and offer solutions to issues that are more complex and difficult in nature.Ø Excellent organization, planning, and follow-up skills.

Ø Work requires analytical ability, judgment and ingenuity.

A moderate amount of discretion is required to perform the job.

Ø Flexible and adaptable to change.

Ø Able to handle multiple tasks, responsibilities and/or projects.
