Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop onsite logistics plan
- Coordinate with Project Manager and General Superintendent
- Direct and control the project to ensure timelines are met
- Demonstrate a commitment to an injury-free work environment leading by example
- Supervise the jobsite to either meet or exceed OSHA safety requirements at all times
- Run weekly safety and trade meetings
- Must be proactive on staying ahead of plans and catching inconsistencies in the drawings before they become an issue
- Highly organized at both preparing both long and short terms schedules to ensure all work activities take place ahead of schedule. Maintain a 2 to 3 week look ahead
- Train and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Labors in the field
- Supervise all trades, and monitor the quality of their daily work
- Coordinate and schedule all required inspections
- Prepare and submit Superintendent daily reports
- Manage storage of all materials in a safe, clean and efficient way
- Ensure all company policies are followed including but not limited to those pertaining to jobsite rules, safety and cleanliness of the jobsite
- Responsible for obtaining Certification of Occupancy on time
- Maintain good working relationship with all subcontractors, inspectors, architects, owners, vendors and any others that you may have interactions with on the jobsite
- Prepare and review scopes, RFI’s and submittals
- Attend all necessary meetings
**Must have 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent building Multi-Family**
Experience & Requirements:
- Substantial Multi-Family Apartment construction experience in the field, supervising, scheduling, quality control and safety
- Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Office
- Working Knowledge of Procore
- Strong Knowledge of OSHA safety rules
- Strong ability to read and understand the plans (Architectural, structural and WEP’s
- Highly organized
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong oral and written communication skills, great interpersonal skills
- Maintains a positive relationship with clients
- Strong leadership skills with a positive attitude
