Sr Marketing Manager – Writer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly self-motivated, seasoned and creative Sr.

Writer to join our Product Marketing Team.

This role will work directly with CBRE’s Consulting Services Team driving growth for the company by crafting custom messaging and base line sales material for this newly formed offering.

The candidate will write and edit in accordance with company brand standards, use industry-specific terminology and adhere to internal style guide standards as well as apply creative story-telling techniques, research and data.

 

The role needs a highly creative writing skillset, someone who can take boilerplate or standard content and make it come to life.

This role will also write and craft messaging for other projects that our team leads within the Occupier platform, as well as copyedit and proof all of our marketing (internal and external) deliverables.

 

This role will report to the Marketing Director of Consulting, and work closely with the entire product marketing team, centers of excellence (digital, content activation, research, design, brand, etc.) and leadership.

This high-visibility position calls for a confident marketing and business development professional with a creative mind, strong writing skillset, strategic-thinking abilities, project management, analytical, and collaboration skills.

The preferred candidate is self-directed and will have vast experience in a deadline driven environment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for crafting written content in all aspects of Product Marketing mostly including but not limited to sales collateral, presentations and campaigns
  • Able to understand complex business challenges and distill into digestible solutions

 

  • Reviews and analyzes library of sales/pursuit materials including brochures, presentations and proposal language

 

  • Creates original and compelling copy for campaigns and product launches

 

  • Develops copy for all channels including video, social, web, and point of sale material

 

  • Writes executive summaries, case studies, internal and external communications amd professional profiles when required

 

  • Works with Knowledge Manager on proposal language, templates and tools as required in a SharePoint library.

    Improves pursuit content and contributes to team’s toolkits when needed

 

  • Provides proofing, quality control and copy edits for all marketing deliverables before they are submitted
  • Interviews proposed business leads, and other team members across the organization to elicit the knowledge required to generate content
  • Participates in strategy sessions, readiness reviews, kickoff meetings, and daily project needs

 

  • Works within Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), PowerPoint and Word to create and design marketing and presentation materials (limited ask)

 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

 

No formal supervisory of people, however, serves as lead on projects, coordinating all tasks, content and ensuring deadlines are met.

May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within business unit and/or project.
