Recruiting Assistant

We are currently looking for an experienced Recruiting Assistant to become part of our organization. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in high volume non-exempt/hourly recruitment, including resume screening, applicant interviewing, and applicant sourcing practices. Essential Functions

· Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout interview process from prepping before interviews to assisting with final offer negotiation

· Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations

· Continuously partner with outside recruiting sources and local organizations to find talent in the area

· Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements

· Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent

· Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.

· Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated

· Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

· Perform other HR related duties and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Obtain candidates to meet recruiting needs
  • Organize interviews with suitable candidates
  • Organize interviews with selected candidates
  • Identify qualified candidates using various recruiting tools
  • Maintain calendar of candidate interviews for recruiting team
  • Provide recruiting and administrative support
  • Assist the recruiting team and recruiting managers
  • Sending candidates directions and interview instructions
  • Hire an administrative and recruiting assistant
  • Initiate background checks for all candidates
  • Assisting recruiters in all recruiting activities
  • Track all recruiting activity using recruitment management system to ensure accurate recruiting data
  • Identifying candidates for various positions
  • Greet and escort candidates to interviews
  • Respond to candidates regarding recruitment inquiries
  • Organize interviews and conference calls with potential candidates
  • Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
  • Achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates for presentation to hiring managers
  • Provide administrative support to the recruiting team

Required Education and Experience

·       Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or a combination of certifications and experience

·       2+ years’ experience in recruitment or human resources

·       Bilingual English and Spanish

·       Experience developing recruiting strategy highly preferred

·       Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills

·       Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search

·       Familiarity with job boards, and HR software, databases, and management systems

·       Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
