BDO Capital Advisors mergers and acquisitions (MA) team of professionals provide a number of strategic advisory services to small and mid-sized companies.

Our ultimate goal is to maximize the value of our client’s business interest.

The team tends to work with privately held middle market businesses with enterprise values between $25 and $300 million with an emphasis on sell-side MA transactions.

The BDO Capital Advisors Vice President is responsible for utilizing previously obtained educational background, along with established organizational and project management skills to successfully service clients of BDO Capital Advisors.

In this role, the BDO Capital Advisors Vice President will work within a team environment to actively manage and assist in the analysis and resolution of client matters while taking direction and receiving guidance from management members.

The Vice President will be involved in all stages of client management, including identification of prospective client opportunities, completion of industry and client research and assisting in the development of client presentations and appropriate documentation.

As there are several cities listed within this job description, we would consider candidates nationwide and able to work remote as long as willing to travel to client site as needed

Essential Duties:

– Assists in running a transaction with guidance from a Managing Director

– Serves as primary point of contact on a transaction if Managing Director is not present

– Conducts call campaigns with minimal involvement from the Managing Director

– Writes all sections of an informational or private placement memorandum

– Applies knowledgeable of corporate finance products and/or concepts

– Oversees the creation of new business pitch materials

– Possesses exceptional modeling skills

Supervisory Responsibilities:

– Will supervise and lead small team of Associates to complete necessary work product as related to individual sell side transactions

Qualifications

Education:

– Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance or other relevant field required

– MBA preferred

Experience:

– Minimum of five (5) years experience at a bulge bracket or reputable boutique or regional investment bank with demonstrable MA sell side experience preferred

License/Certifications:

– FINRA Series 7/79 and 63 required

Software:

– Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and research tools such as CapitalIQ

Other Knowledge, Skills Abilities:

– Excellent oral and written communication skills

– Superior analytical and research skills

– Solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details

– Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment

– Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

– Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels
