Position Overview:

The Talent Management Specialist supports the Talent Management team.

The position requires flexibility and the willingness to adapt as the tasks will vary daily.

This dynamic role works in all areas of end-to-end Talent Management, which includes: talent acquisition support, onboarding, performance management, HR analytics, exit/off-boarding and administrative support to various project work.

The Talent Management Specialist is focused on the delivery of a range of HR operations and administration and should be able to coordinate and contribute on various projects, initiatives, and tasks that bring to life our culture for every teammate.

What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day :

  • Talent Acquisition Support .

    Create and edit job descriptions and job posting advertisement profiles, post open positions to JazzHR (ATS), provide training/setup/reset passwords to new/existing users of JazzHR, active participant for Intake Meetings, review offer letters and update New Hire Tracker.

  • Onboarding.

    Active influence on all parts of the onboarding process and back-end operations.

    Guide new hires through onboarding – collection of paperwork, enrollment, and orientation.

    • Assist with HR Talent Manager and Hiring Manager to provide support creating onboarding schedules for all new hires, EUF submission/approval.
      • EE/MGR Outlook reminders, prepare and send all new hire paperwork, conduct welcome calls and send onboarding schedules to new hires prior to Day One.
  • Qualtrics & HR Analytics.

    Assist with collection and analysis of HR metrics to gain insights and to help drive the development of people strategy.

    Initiate 30/60/90 new hire surveys and Exit Surveys.

  • Off-boarding/Exit Process.

    Responsible for completion of HR Termination Checklist including: creating and sending Acknowledgment of Resignation Notice, Exit Survey, schedule HR Exit Interview, create summary notes from HR Exit Interview and terminate employee in ADP.

  • Reporting.

    Responsible for talent analytics reporting, data collection and metrics extracting data for reporting metrics in Cornerstone—LMS & HRIS—ADP.

  • Project Administration Support.

    Coordinates training activities/events related to leadership & teammate development programs, culture-related initiatives, CEO & New Hire Meet/Greets.

  • Supports initiatives to ensure that HR processes and procedures integrate our culture & core values and key elements i.e., performance reviews, promotions, development, hiring, etc.
  • Assists in drafting communications related to talent management including: employee market adjustments, promotions/demotions, transfers and employee documentation.
  • Proficient in drafting presentations on various HR topics.
  • Help support the performance management process within our systems, status reports and assist employees and management with questions, concerns or requests.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Other Skills We Hope to See:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or demonstrated experience required
  • 2-5 years experience working in an HR related role
  • Ability to fluently speak and write in Spanish, strongly preferred
  • Creative thinking and the ability to approach things differently
  • Experience in supply chain logistics, strongly preferred
  • Accountability to take full ownership for everything you do
  • Ability to handle matters with sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in HRIS systems
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
