The People & Culture Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s People & Culture department.

This position should operate with a people-first and team-centered customer service approach with every interaction.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMaintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

Processes employee changes in appropriate systems and records.Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and team members relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level People & Culture staff or management.Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.Performs periodic audits of personnel files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.Provides clerical support to the People & Culture department.May assist with payroll support by answering questions, correcting processing errors, and distributing checks.Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.

Process team member benefit enrollments and updates.Conducts or assists with recruiting tasks and new hire onboarding appointments.Manages team member leave process; processes required notifications and completes appropriate tasks to track leave availability and recording.Responds to unemployment notices and other record requests as directedAssists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.Attends Safety Committee Meetings, records meeting minutes and maintains a regular calendar of safety communications to team members.Manage SDS binders, including master chemical list and department binders; completes quarterly audit of SDS binders to on-site chemicalsPerforms other duties as assigned.(Human Resources).
