In this role, it will be your job to inspire and influence your team while partnering closely to support and enable our market expansion teams.

We are seeking someone who is comfortable using data to inform priorities, while also demonstrating strong customer empathy with solid product instincts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead a team of product managers in building our core Applications platform, including Notebook, Registry, and Inventory products, as well as core navigation and user experiences across our entire product suite.

This will be true not only across engineering, product, and design, but also with our go-to-market teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and more.

• Beyond practicing empathy with our customers, you will rigorously fill in gaps of your own subject matter expertise to intimately understand their needs within fast-changing and technical complex fields of biotechnology and chemistry.

• You will measure the impact of your team and work by defining success metrics, tracking progress, and adapting your plans based on insights from that data.

• You will have a drive to question assumptions and validate hypotheses, obsessing over getting the product details right while still knowing how to ship on time.

WHO YOU ARE

• A manager, coach, and mentor that has a proven track record of recruiting and building strong product teams.

• Solid foundational understanding of web application technologies and user experience design patterns, with the innate curiosity and drive to learn more.

• Someone that thrives in the challenge of distilling clarity and focus from ambiguity and complexity.

• Experience balancing competing needs in a platform, striking the right balance between flexibility and consistency, comfortable clearly communicating prioritization.

• A strong problem solver that can gather, prioritize, and drive execution on customer and business requirements, turning them into successful product strategies.

• Possess influential leadership and interpersonal skills that enable you to build strong relationships with customers, your reports, company peers, and company leadership.

• Are excellent at listening to others and articulating ideas in written and oral form.

• Ideally you have experience with both life sciences R&D and high growth software technology companies.
