Financial Reporting Senior

Job SummaryFinancial Reporting SeniorResponsibilities:• Works closely with Financial Reporting Manager and GL Accounting Teams in the collection and analysis of financial information to support internal and external financial reporting.• Prepare quarterly and annual disclosure checklist for compliance with all reporting requirements of the SEC and FASB.• Assist in reviewing disclosures to ensure compliance with company policies as well as SEC, US GAAP reporting requirements, XBRL.• Prepare various disclosure and US GAAP compliance checklists.• Conduct accounting research, conclude on complex accounting issues and document through preparation of technical memos.• Prepare consolidated statement of cash flows on a quarterly basis.• Prepare the 123R calculations and ensure compliance with accounting rules.• Review Oracle and other reports to assess monthly performance versus budget/forecast and work with others in the finance organization to analyze variances.• Special ad hoc Projects as necessary.Requirements:• At least 4 years public accounting experience.• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Economics• Minimum 2 to 4 years relevant work experience, including financial statement preparation and technical research skills.• Recent SEC reporting experience within public accounting or a publicly held company required.• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.• Able to manage workflow and meet deadlines and work efficiently under tight deadlines.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:• accounting: 4 years (Required)Education:• Bachelor’s (Required)Location:• Los Angeles, CA (Required)
