Our growing team is looking for Tax Advisors to work remotely, some of the duties include; Responsibilities: Manage and advise a high volume of small/start-up business owners within various industries to be compliant with federal and state regulations Build relationships with clients to assist with their tax needs on an ongoing basis Follow designed workflows and procedures to ensure clients meet set deadlines Working knowledge of general business practices and ability to demonstrate business and financial acumen Be the point of contact for providing guidance and support of 1-800Accountants accounting portal system Timely and professional communication with clients via softphone/messaging system Guide clients through the bookkeeping software and review financials for accuracy Follow up with members of the team to ensure that the completion of tasks align with your tax strategy Additional work as required (i.e estimates/tax preparation/notice resolution) Qualifications/Requirements: Relevant degree or combination of education and tax experience Enrolled Agent License and/or CPA Certification (preferred) 2 years experience with personal and small business taxation Proficiency in related technologies; spreadsheets, tax prep and bookkeeping software Adaptable with process and system changes Up to date on the latest tax codes Conflict resolution skills Capable of building strong client relationships over the phone while remaining committed to 1-800Accountants vision and objectives Why us: Work with a leading virtual accounting firm 100% remote Flexible schedule Work with a sophisticated proprietary software Join an engaging community of like-minded individuals Exposure to a large variety of industries Full-time and Part-time available Led by our CEO who was voted one of the country’s 50 best CEO’s in the United States by Glassdoor, 1800Accountant is the country’s largest virtual accounting firm serving over 40,000 clients.
