National and Alamo has an exciting opportunity for a DOT Bus Driver (9-15 passengers). The primary responsibility of this position is to safely operate an Nataional/Alamo shuttle bus between the airport and the rental facility, transporting customers picking up and returning vehicles in a courteous and helpful manner.
**This position is based at our National/Alamo LAX location in 90301**
**This is a Full-Time Union position, schedule based on a shift bid. Apart from religious observances, must be available to work 40 hours/week working various shifts including, graveyard, swing shift, as well as, days, nights, holidays and weekends.**
**Hourly pay up to $18.50/hour *
**$2,000 signing bonus for all Maintenance Technicians hired prior to November 19th 2021**
($500 upon starting, $500 after 90 days of employment, $1000 after 6 months of employment)

Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner
- Greet each customer personally in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Operate the courtesy shuttle in accordance with all laws and regulations while following company policy to ensure a safe and pleasant operating environment
- Assist customer(s) load and unload luggage, enter and exit vehicle and miscellaneous customer needs
- Notify Manager of any customer or vehicle problems including daily maintenance, including but not limited to ensuring proper oil, tire and fluid levels
- Provide appropriate local information, distribute maps and handouts as required
- Communicate with office and other drivers via 2-way radio or cellular phone
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid California Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement (air brakes not required)
- Minimum of 1-year DOT CDL bus driving experience with transporting passengers
- Must be able to push, pull and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to operate the shuttle bus and assist customers with luggage
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment DOT physical exam & drug test to obtain a Medical Card as required by the USDOT
- No moonlighting allowed (no other paid employment)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Apart from religious observation, must be able to work 40 hours/week full time which include various shifts (graveyard, swing shift, days, nights, holidays and weekends).
