HR Payroll Coordinator

What we are looking for

In this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to play an important role in a fast-growing firm. The Human Resources Payroll Coordinator is responsible for handling critical aspects of the payroll cycle and working with HR assisting with some of our most important projects. You will have the ability to make this role your own.


You will –


Human Resources

  • Aid the HR and Payroll team with administrative duties and helps create an organized workflow for multiple projects
  • Monitors HR inbox, replying to and distributing emails as appropriate. Answers questions regarding payroll matters.
  • I-9 completion and ongoing compliance
  • Maintains electronic employee personnel files, records, and other documentation for employees, including accurately processing new employees, forms for employment status changes, terminations and maintaining timely and accurate employee files in our system of records (ADP)
  • Assists Learning and Development manager with coordination, including scheduling meetings and Kolbe implementation
  • Performs some assignments that are non-routine and vary in complexity with minimal direction as needed

  • Attends meetings, trainings, and other work-related events as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Payroll

  • Handles all payroll-related issues and resolution of any payroll discrepancies
  • Assists with bi-weekly employee payroll and processes client bi-weekly payrolls
  • Conducts biweekly and monthly pre and post payroll audits
  • Creates and prepares payroll reports as needed

  • Extremely well organized and always keeping multiple projects and priorities in order
  • Goal-oriented, a self-starter, passionate about helping represent Human Resources and Payroll to support a great working environment
  • Able to establish priorities, multi-task, work under pressure and deadlines, work independently with minimal supervision


We want –

  • Our ideal candidate will possess 3+ years in the fields of HR and Payroll.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, to include modern business communications, formatting professional documents, reports, and proper email etiquette
  • Customer service and team-oriented a must
  • Exceptional attention to detail skills
  • Dependable and self-motivated
  • Well-developed computer skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
