Our client, a 55-year family-owned foodservice equipment and service provider, is looking for a seasoned and dynamic Senior Account Manager .

The Senior Account Manager role reports directly to the President and will be essential in navigating the next steps of organizational evolution offering growth, challenge, and leadership.

This position has near term potential to be groomed as VP General Manager with equity position in the company.

The right candidate will possess a big picture mindset and look to grow in responsibility while helping their clients in the food industry create better experiences for their customers.

As the Senior Account Manager , you will be responsible for: Managing the companys largest account covering 10 western states, building business and relationships with key decision makers including, but not limited to, the regional VPs, store managers, and department managers.

Working cross functionally with internal and external teams to continually improve performance and enable growth.

Developing a strategic roadmap which aligns customer needs, issues, opportunities with industry best practices and our companys offerings.

Managing sales and purchasing transactions to contracted service levels.

Serving as key point of contact for all customer inquiries and concerns.

As the future VP General Manager , you will be responsible for: Overseeing daily business operations and acting as strong motivator of others.

Managing Sales and Service Operations functions, including hiring, right-sizing, training, and personnel management.

Managing P&L and developing budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.

Developing and implementing strategic plans for growth.

Dynamic Leadership with equity position for next generation of the company.

Requirements and Competencies: 5 years experience in successful client & personnel management in the retail grocery or foodservice segment, especially with top tier departmental level clients in an operationally focused, client facing role.

Demonstrated history of managing the sales process and developing a strategic roadmap which aligns customer needs, issues, opportunities with industry best practices and our companys offerings.

Strong executive & leadership presence this role will have extensive executive visibility both internally and externally.

Analytical capability to manage P&L, evaluating and improving operations and financial performance.

Knowledge of business process and functions (Finance, HR, and Operations).

Experience leading Sales and Service teams.

Track record of developing relationships with customers, internal & external collaborators, and partners.

Ability to identify challenges/opportunities, present solutions, and execute solutions with the team.

Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbal.

Proven experience working with stakeholders at all levels with the ability to influence without conflict.

Exhibits initiative, able to decisively act in unpredictable situations, and able to spot and seize opportunities.

Models highest standards of honesty and integrity with self, co-workers, and clients.

Able to interpret and apply understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.

Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

Ability to bring calm to chaos, while managing multiple issues at once.

High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.
