EveryoneOn is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering social and economic opportunity by connecting people to low-cost internet service and computers, and delivering digital skills training.

About the Role

The Program Manager will work closely with the Senior Manager of Programs and Special Projects to manage and implement regional digital inclusion initiatives in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Programs and Special Projects, form part of the programs team, and work collaboratively with the cross-functional team. This role does not have any direct reports but will manage multiple contractors that will serve as Digital Skills Instructors.

Key Responsibilities

Program Design and Planning

  • Develop work plans for specific digital inclusion activities, including digital skills trainings and capacity-building trainings for diverse organizations
  • Lead and/or support the implementation of digital inclusion activities, including broadband enrollment efforts, device distribution activities, & digital skills trainings (virtual & in-person)

Community Outreach

  • Identify local EveryoneOn partners and local organizations to engage, including but not limited to nonprofits, public housing agencies, elected officials and municipal departments, and K-12 schools
  • Identify opportunities with local stakeholders to implement digital inclusion activities
  • Help develop collateral materials to communicate broadband enrollment and digital skills training opportunities, in collaboration with the Director of Communications
  • Under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Programs and Special Projects, and in coordination with the Director of Communications, support the EveryoneOn communications plan by sharing marketing materials, promoting events, and sourcing stories and photos to share on EveryoneOn social media platforms

Partnership Management

  • Establish or maintain effective and positive working relationships and communication with all cross-sectors partners, including funders, nonprofits, civic leaders, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in relevant coalitions, task forces and other civic groups to inform digital inclusion conversations, share resources and identify partnership opportunities

Local Capacity Building

  • Help organize, lead, and facilitate digital inclusion capacity-building webinars for local community organizations, partners, and other interested stakeholders
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to implement digital inclusion activities

Drive Internet and Device Adoption

  • Manage and coordinate activities to facilitate enrollment assistance, including outreach via local organizations, marketing via digital channels, and our Enrollment Assistance Hotline (operated by Digital Navigators)

Digital Skills Academy

  • Work with the Senior Manager of Programs and Special Projects and programs team to customize the Digital Skills Training curriculum and compile materials
  • Assist with the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new Digital Skills instructors
  • Collaborate with local organizations to generate awareness about the trainings, create program partnerships, and identify and outreach to prospective participants
  • Coordinate and manage training schedules and delivery, including instructors

Measurement and Evaluation

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Programs and Special Projects and programs team to customize evaluation tools, including pre and post surveys
  • Prepare reports that summarize progress on work plans, as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • A passion for fostering digital equity
  • Experience working with diverse populations, in particular, low-income communities of color
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience in community relations, cross-sector partnership management, and/or program design and management
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Organization and professionalism – organized and can manage business-related documents
  • Problem-solver – Takes obstacles and finds solutions, always working towards the betterment of the organization
  • Passionate – Drives results and brings energy and excitement to all responsibilities
  • Track record of success managing national and/or multifaceted projects
  • Ability to build and manage high-profile external partnerships
  • Ability to think strategically, drive analysis and solve problems quickly and effectively
  • Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage concurrent work plans

Compensation and Application Process

The salary range for this position is $60-$65K and will depend on experience. EveryoneOn significantly serves BIPOC communities, particularly the Black/African-American and Latino/x communities. We are seeking candidates with lived experience, and those who are culturally competent within a BIPOC framework.
