Technical Product Manager (remote!)

The Match Group Safety team is on a mission to create safer platforms and communities for all.

In this role of Technical Product Manager, you will execute the product strategy for Match Group’s integrated suite of services that share safety information internally across our global portfolio.

You will use your business acumen to evaluate and execute safety priorities that impact the Match Group brands and rely on your technical background to have collaborative, in-depth discussions with engineers & technology stakeholders.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will lead product discovery, prioritization and execution of new features, enhancements, and optimizations that maximize the performance of our suite of backend safety services and APIs
  • You will communicate the vision and roadmap to senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company-wide safety objectives
  • You will create product specifications with clear business justification, technical requirements, and user flows that speak to the safety needs across the entire portfolio and provide internal training to safety leads on how to utilize the service
  • You will collaborate with Match Group brands across the globe to align internal and external partners on strategies that maximize the impact and efficiency of product & moderation teams while solving for underlying safety concerns
  • You will develop metrics to measure the success of service changes, analyze results, and use analysis to inform further iteration and design dashboards to communicate KPIs to key internal and external stakeholders
  • You will assess emerging safety products to measure potential value to the organization, provide recommendations for new technologies, and support third-party vendor communications, evaluations, and integrations

We could be a match if:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in product management and software development or related experience in an agile environment
  • You have experience supporting business-critical systems for multinational customers
  • You are able to qualify how the API/service delivers value from a product perspective
  • You are proficient with SQL and have experience working with large datasets for planning and analysis
  • You have expert working knowledge of tools such as Google Suite, Jira, Confluence, and Slack
  • You have experience developing processes for sharing information and insights across large organizations and are able to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and engineers, tailoring the message appropriately to the audience
  • You quickly build rapport and trust with cross-functional stakeholders through integrity, honesty, authenticity, and drive
  • You demonstrate proactiveness and perseverance in complex and constantly evolving environments.
