Asereth Medical Services has a need for a pharmacy technician.
Essential knowledge and Duties:
Able to read and interpret prescriptions, abbreviations on prescriber’s orders.
Able to do routine pharmacy mathematical calculations.
Prepares or repackages drugs and pharmaceuticals under the supervision of a pharmacist
Functional knowledge of intravenous medication admixture.
Working knowledge of intramuscular, topical and oral medication order processing and distribution.
Able to read and process electronic and manually written pharmacy orders.
Able to generate and print labels, retrieve and deliver medications to specified areas.
Fill and exchange dispensing medication by cart timely and accurately.
Work well in a team environment.
Take orders and give orders within a team environment as needed for the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Calculates, prepares medication labels based on written orders from physicians and other professional staff.
Prepares or repackages drugs and pharmaceuticals under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in a Pharmacy
License:
California Pharmacy Technician Certification
