The Team – Cloud & Enterprise Applications

Advise fast growing companies and well-known enterprises (both publicly traded and privately held) on a wide variety of projects using Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central, the Microsoft stack of integrated technologies, and external integrated systems such as EDI, hand scanners, and warehouse equipment.

Your Impact

  • As a Dynamics Business Central Functional Senior Manager, you will be responsible for obtaining clients’ requirements and translating them into system configurations, setups, or design documents for the technical team to develop.
  • As a Functional Manager, you are responsible for the delivery of Business Central configurations, training, and documentation to deliver operational improvements to clients through the Microsoft stack and ‘best of breed’ ISV solutions.
  • Manage the assignment of tasks to other functional resources in your group, track their progress, and obtain updates to be delivered to internal stakeholders and project managers weekly.
  • Conduct business analysis sessions with client stakeholders and be client-facing as appropriate during the implementation lifecycle.
  • Support the Dynamics team in deal shaping by designing mockups for demonstrations, presales activities, and providing estimates for development requests.
  • Work with the technical team to Architect, design, and deploy full-lifecycle solutions for Dynamics.
  • Contribute to best practices for documentation standards, change control, general architecture, unit testing, and bug and issue tracking.
  • Contribute to a highly experienced, collaborative team, including mentoring and discussion groups on new technologies and low friction solutions to business problems.
  • Prepare clients to use the ERP solution by executing testing plans and working with functional consultants.
  • Manage customer relationships by providing support, answering questions, and resolving concerns and issues.
  • Work with the project manager and project team by communicating essential information, obtaining team input, reviewing open issues and action items, contributing information to team meetings and reports, and using technology and tools as defined for each project.
  • Continue to build personal expertise by participating in educational opportunities, self-study, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Document and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Create model documentation, develop implementation roadmaps, and perform knowledge transfers.
  • Work with different groups within the organization (accounting, FP&A, and operations).
  • Actively participate in career development activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of cumulative implementation experience between Dynamics NAV and Business Central within three or more of the following modules: Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, and Warehousing.
  • Understanding of typical software implementation lifecycles.
  • Experience leading sessions for analysis, design, testing, and training (CRP, UAT).
  • Hands-on, functional experience with Business Central or NAV as it relates to everyday user functional practices.
  • Experience architecting business solutions.
  • Experience with identifying and correcting problems in imperfect data and processes.
  • Experience with data conversions, interfaces/integrations, reporting, and customizations.
  • Experience in documenting and performing analysis of client environments including technology strategy, current technology architecture, organizational structure, and business processes.
  • Ability and eagerness to constantly learn and teach others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to travel up to 20%, as requested by clients.
  • Microsoft Certifications, especially related to Dynamics.
  • Education and professional certifications related to areas of focus (Accounting, Manufacturing, IT).
  • Experience with Microsoft Cloud administration and licensing.
  • Tier 1 or Tier 2 consulting experience.
  • Experience with common integrated environments such as EDI, Flow, Power Apps, hand scanners.
