Program Lead, Supplier Management

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced professional who has supplier strategy and project management experience to drive our global Supplier Management framework.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is self-motivated, with excellent communication skills, out-of-the-box thinking, and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You must enjoy solving complex enterprise-wide problems and enjoy building programs and workflows from scratch.

You have a strong knowledge of the supplier lifecycle workflow, can develop strong cross
– functional relationships, and create programs that satisfy the requirements and needs from a variety of stakeholders.

This position will reside in our Los Angeles office and will report to the leader of Supplier Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Design a comprehensive, streamlined end-to-end approach used to manage high value and strategically important suppliers from selection to off-boarding 
  • Collaborate and Partner with cross-functional leads from the following departments: InfoSec, Legal, Contingent Talent, Internal Audit, Finance, IT, Strategic Sourcing teams to provide visibility into our supplier ecosystem
  • Lead internal cross-functional teams on the principles within the supplier management business process for evaluation, selection, performance, and risk assessment 
  • Partner closely with our technology solutions architect on business requirements and needs to drive our supplier management strategy 
  • Develop a business scorecard to assess and categorize suppliers focusing on characteristics such as strategic value, impact, risk, diversity, and sustainability
  • Guide and support internal functions such as Business Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, InfoSec and Finance related to change management, supplier-initiated changes, supplier qualification and periodic performance review 
  • Collaborate and build productive relationships with internal and external business partners and stakeholders to enable timely fulfillment of business requirements
  • Lead continuous business process improvements (e.g., enhancements to the sourcing process, development or revision of key sourcing procedures, documenting processes, risk assessment, etc.).

  • 8+ years of relevant Supplier Management program framework, procurement operations, and strategy building
  • Outstanding strategic skills with the ability to transform general goals into actionable plans
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced rapidly expanding environment with minimal direction with the ability to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional meetings 
  • Relationship builder
    – Ability to cultivate strong cross functional relationships and communicate effectively with team members and business partners
  • Strong enthusiasm for developing new business workflows and ideating from scratch 
  • Critical thinker with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity and passion
    – ask probing questions, challenge the status quo, make changes to improve processes, and have fun while doing it; have a positive attitude and never settling for “good enough” are key
  • Ability to take occasional trips to our global offices as needed 
  • ERP and Procurement systems experience with Supplier Management Operations solutions
