Goodwin seeks a highly qualified senior associate to join our Technology Company Practice with a focus on capital markets transactions and public company representation.

Candidate should have 2-6+ years of experience working on registered equity offerings (IPOs and follow-on offerings), as well as some experience representing public companies in connection with their Exchange Act reporting obligations.

Candidate should be generally familiar with SEC rules and forms, the underwriting process, comfort letters, opinions and other components of the offering process.

Ideal candidate would have such experience in the context of both issuer-side and underwriter-side representation, although experience with both is not required.

Candidate does not need to have a prior focus on technology, but prior representation of (or work with) emerging growth companies (EGCs) is a plus.

Candidates applying for attorney positions with Goodwin should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

California bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) preferred.
