is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join the team working from their Hollywood office.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to the daily and operations accounting and financial aspects of the Company as well as maintaining a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the Company’s reported financial results and to ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Duties and Responsibilities  (including, but not limited to:)
Complete all A/P & A/R duties.
Verify Invoice GL coding is correct.
Invoice clients accurately and timely.
Reconcile all balance sheet accounts (all bank accounts and credit cards).
Process payroll, and final paychecks.
Process payments of payroll liabilities and quarterly taxes.
Process and oversee Employee Benefits – CalSavers and Covered California Health Benefits.
Renewal and Audits of Company Insurance
– Auto, General Liability, Workers Compensation, Hazard Insurance.
Process EDD Forms, Child Support, Employee Withholdings Forms, Employment Verification Forms.
Establish, monitor, and reinforce accounting policies, procedures & internal controls.
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, promptly respond to inquiries from government agencies as required.
Performs other tasks as assigned or requested.
Skills & Qualifications
Exceptional communication skills in the English language, inclusive of reading, writing, and speaking.
Thorough knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting requirements, including application of general accounting theory.
Proficient working knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Experience with MS Office, including Word and Excel.
Focused with great attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
Team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Exercise confidentiality and discretion.
Education
– B.S.

in Accounting.
Minimum of 2 years of business-related experience as Assistant Controller, Assistant Accounting Manager or Staff Accountant.
Job Type:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Must have proof of FULLY Vaccinated status
In-person working from the office in Hollywood, California
