The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As the MSD Transformation Director, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

In this role, you will assist in executing division and operational strategies throughout the businesses via effective communications with other executives and team members, diligent program management, and the creation and implementation of key initiatives to achieve breakthrough growth to realize our strategic intent.

You will have a high level of visibility with the executive leadership team and be a member of the division operating committee.

Your key responsibilities include: Translate division’s strategic intent into operational reality, breaking down strategies or business initiatives into key projects with associated accountabilities and defined success metrics Drive a culture of transformation through creation and implementation of initiatives to realize our strategic intent and a step-change in operational business metrics.

Coordinates and enables experiential learning.

Run organizational planning and business rhythm process in alignment with all other functions with clear division goals, objectives, key results, and resource plans to ensure Division runs effectively and efficiently to meet goals.

Manage strategic programs to ensure alignment to organization strategies as well as ability to execute specific initiatives within the organization, ensuring support across all MSD teams.

Coach, drive, and lead lean behaviors, principles, and tools across the Division.

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Ten (10) years of experience in business or marketing management in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: MBA or master’s degree in business and/or strategy Experience in strategic planning and execution Five or more years of Health Care industry experience Lean
– Six Sigma trained with demonstrated ability to apply tools and process rigor Proven business/financial acumen, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, solve complex problems and drive change at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated leadership, energizing global teams, and global project management.

Proven ability to drive and manage change initiatives in a matrix environment.

Ability to successfully motivate and maintain high moral, employee involvement, safety, and teamwork Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced changing environment.
