Colorist

Color Management – Ability to visually evaluate colors with consistency and accuracy
comments on color approvals and rejections and give directions on how to achieve desired colors
approval of all lab dips and bulk submissions on fabrics, laces, prints and trim items ensuring color consistency within the brand
Organize color library and update standard
Coordinate with Designers and Production team to ensure accurate color submissions and approvals
Execute color approvals for assigned lab dips and bulk production
Follow up on outstanding submissions
Maintain approval and rejection records for all color submitted by mills and factories
Provide color support and comments in color approval process with design and sourcing
Review solid, prints and trim for color approval within specified turn times to maintain on time delivery
Assist with Updating tracking system with color approval status
• QA Compliance – Testing and factory audits through third party lab. Follow end customer requirements and protocols for factories and product. Labels – Garment label – Supply factory with information and layout needed for each style.

Fabric Quality – Test, Review and comments

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in apparel Industry
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Ability to support cross-functional teams when needed
