OAH is currently hiring a Spanish speaking Administrative Assistant.

This bilingual Spanish role will be vital to the team and responsible for a wide spectrum of essential legal, clerical, and administrative duties.

This role will be with the Special Education Division that handles mediations and due process hearings that involve issues related to Special Education under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

The Administrative Assistant is an important role as they manage these cases and facilitate between the parties and OAH.

You will be joining a dynamic team with potential opportunity for telework.

As the Administrative Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform a variety of important clerical duties for the office such as answering phones, distributing mail, and coordinating services for hearings
Process motions, orders, and other legal documents
Schedule, generate, type, and issue orders and legal notices
Apply written communication skills by proofreading, formatting, and typing legal documents in Spanish and English
Support and assist the e-file desk by processing incoming documents received electronically and via U.S.

Mail
Utilize technical expertise and transmit legal documents utilizing Microsoft Word, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat
