We are looking for a strategic, creative and collaborative Senior Manager of Internal Communications to inspire, engage and unite our employees across various locations.
You are an experienced internal communications leader who can establish a comprehensive internal communications strategy, execute against it, measure and report results, and implement ongoing improvements.
Your internal communications approach will align with Glassdoor’s culture, support the company’s business strategy and growth, while remaining flexible to support change management and transformation.
You are a proven business leader and can partner cross-functionally with a wide range of leaders and teams, in particular those across people, executive, legal and marketing teams.
You are someone who loves motivating others to do their best work, can infuse values and culture into your programs and has an entrepreneurial spirit to ideate, implement and solve problems with innovation and grit.
Compensation: $142,000.00
– $178,000.00

Tier 1 encompasses the highest salary range for states where large metropolitan areas are located (ie: San Francisco, New York City, Washington DC, & etc)
Tier 2 encompasses salary ranges 15% less than those in Tier 1 for states with mid-sized cities (ie: Chicago, Dallas, Portland, etc)
Tier 3 encompasses salary ranges 20% less than those in Tier 1 for states with smaller
cities (including our Ohio office, Nevada, etc)

What you’ll do:
Develop an annual internal communications plan that supports Glassdoor’s business strategy with the goal of building trust, confidence, clarity and excitement among employees
Execute against your plan by creating compelling, consistent and clear communications materials and using a variety of channels to deliver the right message at the right time
Work cross-functionally with executives and teams to serve as a communications consultant and leader, playing a role in decision-making and providing recommendations on internal communications strategies
Support change management and growth achievements
Bring Glassdoor’s culture and values to life through inspiring communications programs that support a world-class employee experience and help attract and retain talent
Play a leadership role in select external communications campaigns with a focus on supporting employers and employees
What you’ll bring:
At least 8-10 years of internal, executive and change communications experience
Proven experience developing and implementing engaging internal communications strategies and plans to support business goals, including measurement to achieve objectives and key results
Superior written and verbal communication skills, ranging from distilling complex topics and translating them to short, attention-grabbing messages, to creating purposeful calls-to-action, to drafting executive talking points and more
A commitment to transparency with internal communications, including when working through ambiguity, sensitive topics, running priorities or accommodating timely opportunities on short notice
Industry expertise on the latest internal and employee communications trends, tools, emerging technologies and standard methodologies
Demonstrated experience implementing and managing technological tools, vendors and/or support resources needed to drive programs
Exceptional project management skills, including impeccable attention to detail and meeting deadlines while juggling multiple priorities
Experience using data to inform strategies and decision-making
Experience presenting to and coaching senior leaders
Creativity, authenticity and a passion for helping people to love their work
